H&T Group Signs Enterprise Technology Deal with Boomerang

Boomerang™ the thought leaders in next generation intelligent SMS, announces that it has signed an agreement with H&T Group plc for the use of Boomerang's technology at the heart of its customer service improvement programme.

H&T is the UK's leading pawnbroking company. From its 150 stores H&T provides a range of services including pawnbroking, payday loans and cheque cashing services allowing customers to manage their finances in a simple and affordable environment.  H&T is listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange and is regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

Using Boomerang, H&T have now put business processes in place to automate interactions with their customers, involving pawnbroking, gold purchasing and general loan communications.  Boomerang's patented two-way threaded messaging service provides a future proofed solution and harnesses the mass medium of SMS to complete everyday business transactions, as an extension of their automated workflow.

Boomerang's technology can be utilised as a cost effective and reliable alternative to sending letters, emails or making time and cost intensive phone calls.  Boomerang's technology will help H&T reduce costs whilst increasing their efficiency and customer satisfaction.  When compared with email and phone calls, SMS communication is significantly more likely to receive a response with a 97.5% open rate within 5 seconds of receipt of the SMS.
